Boiling Point – Surrey

The first time I went to Boiling Point was in Burnaby on Kingsway. It was quite packed and very popular. I wasn’t really sure why until I tried it out with some friends. When I found out they’re opening one in Surrey, I was ecstatic!!!! It’s like your own mini hotpot except you can ask for rice or noodles and sometimes, there’s already vermicelli noodles inside your bowl.

“V-STAR” Rating:

Variety – 7/10 : There’s about 12 options of hot pots and you can always pay extra to have different add-ons. There’s Rice and Noodles as options. There are these ice cubes for dessert.

Service – 9.5/10 : The first time I came here, it was super packed, so service wasn’t on top but completely understandable when it was super packed. When I recently went here for lunch, the service was amazing! They’re super friendly, fast, and they give you water when they notice you drank all the pre-packaged tea and refill without you asking.

Taste – 8/10 : My korean kimchi soup was good, everything tasted good to me !!

Atmosphere – 8/10 : It’s whatever. The only negative thing I would say is that the ventilation kind of sucks so it always smells like that stinky tofu stuff … yuck.. But that’s a personal preference.. considering some people loveeeeeeeeee to eat that stinky tofu ..

Reasonably Priced -8.5/10 :  During lunch time, for like 10-11$ you get your hot pot, rice or noodles, and a drink!!! pretty cheap and it’s very very filling if you ask me

I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch! Worth the penny.
