Ramen Gojiro – Vancouver

Heard this place was popular so we decided to come here for a late-ish lunch. Wow…. The line outside the door speaks for their popularity.. Regardless we waited…

V-STAR Rating:

Variety – 8/10 – It’s a Ramen place so expect there to be 80-90% Ramen choices. There are salads, other deep fried things like chicken and gyoza etc.

Service – 7.5/10 – I guess because it was really busy, the service wasn’t the greatest. It would take long to wave someone for water or get a box etc or take our order. However, once you get their attention, they move really fast.

Taste – 9/10 – The salad I had was realllllllly good even though I could smell and semi-taste the flakey octopus thing.

Atmosphere – 8/10 – I guess most – if not all – Japanese restaurants have that culture where they say something when someone gets seated and when they leave (I think it’s welcome and thank you / good bye / see you again – I wouldn’t know considering I practically failed Japanese lol). That whole thing makes the atmosphere fun and lively.

Reasonably Priced – 8.5/10 – You get A LOT for the price you’re paying for. Definitely worth it.

Overall, I would not come here again UNLESS I am sharing with someone. I couldn’t finish my own bowl .. and there was A LOT left!!! So wasteful… Maybe the chicken and salad prior to my Ramen made me really full… oh welps.

yours truly,

tb ❤
