“Korean dessert cafe, Milkcow, famed for its unique milk soft ice cream and extraordinary toppings has arrived in Canada! Milkcow is one of the fastest growing ice cream chains in Asia, featuring endorsements by well-known South Korean celebrities.”
I’ve always wanted to go here but haven’t had the chance until last weekend. In addition, my sister won a contest that also gave her $25 gift card to spend at Milkcow so that enticed us to go sooner than later…
Variety – 7/10 – There were about 10-15 different ice cream toppings and the prices vary by how tough it would be (from what I can see).
Service – 8/10 – They were quick and friendly.
Taste – 8/10 – It was very soft and fluffy tasting? It wasn’t sweet like Mcd’s/Ikea’s soft serve ice cream. It kind of reminded me like Costco’s soft serve though. Regardless, it was good.
Atmosphere – n/a
Reasonably Priced – 6.5/10 – It is the most expensive soft serve ice cream I have ever had. The original (just the cup and the soft serve ice cream) costs $4.95. If you want to add Macaroon or anything else (cotton candy), blue syrup, other things, it would be $5.95 and more. Personally, I don’t think it is worth the cost but it is very hyped rn so people would pay for it. It’s also different from the others (not bingsoo, not waffles, not waffles with ice cream, etc.) soooooooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Overall, I probably wouldn’t come here again if I was in Richmond just because there are SO MANY other choices available in Richmond that I haven’t tried yet so I’d do that first before considering to come back…
