Wow! It’s been a long break… I’m back foodie fam! Trying to catch up on my posts to give you guys the inside scoop on where to go or where not to go… or at least what to expect and you can decide if you still want to go there… 🙂
Variety – 9/10 – For appetizers, you could get calamari, dips, salads, oysters, prawn cocktail, tacos, ahi tuna poke, beef carpaccio, fish and cip cones, tuna & avocado toast and miso glazed sablefish… Keep in mind, this is a SEAFOOD restaurant and that’s their specialty (hence the happy hour choices – all seafood basically). They also have buck-a-shuck here for $1.00 feature oysters!!
Service- 8.5/10 – Everyone’s friendly and quick. Our server was really nice. Although it was really busy, she tried to be as fast as she could. If someone else (who wasn’t our server) noticed we were trying to look for our server, they would come to our table and ask us if we need anything.
Taste – 9/10 – I liked majority of the things we ordered. Wasn’t a fan of the “sushi chef’s feature” which is their daily creation. That day was supposed to be some sort of spicy salmon roll but it wasn’t spicy at all! It also had a weird topping that we were not a fan of.
Atmosphere- 9/10 – Everyone’s smiley here, maybe because it was hot and sunny and it was patio season… Everyone’s super friendly and the staff is helpful if you look lost (when you’re obviously trying to find your way to the bathroom).
Reasonably Priced – 7.5/10 – For happy hour, it was reasonably priced (for 90% of it)! If I was here for a normal occasion, it would probably be a little pricey for my pockets. The quality that you get is definitely worth it during happy hour..
Overall, I would come here again … in the summer … for happy hour 🙂
